The later has proved of great value and acceptance to the SME sector.

The Institution has a well-qualified resource pool of Lead Auditors/Auditors in various disciplines, to provide an effective certification service. Considering the increasing demand for these services, the Systems Certification Division obtains the services of well qualified outside auditors too where necessary. The ISO 9001 based Quality Management Systems Certification Scheme, ISO 14001 based Environmental Management Systems Certification Scheme & ISO 22000/HACCP based Food Safety Management Certification Scheme have been accredited by RvA – Netherlands, and by Sri Lanka Accreditation Board which are world-renowned Accreditation Bodies in the world.

Therefore the certificates issued under these schemes are recognized internationally. Hence the Sri Lankan organizations can use this service to obtain internationally recognized certificates to market their products.
